This has been a fascinating and challenging piece and I have enjoyed getting to know more about this interesting building.
One hundred years ago, Eureka Springs was drawing visitors from across the country to drink from the “healing waters” of its springs. The Roundhouse, which started life as a storage facility for street light gas, later became the Ozarka Water company. They bottled from the nearby Ozarka Spring for over fifty years before the company was sold. The building led a varied life after that and eventually fell into disrepair. In 2002, it was purchased by Jon and Twyla Pease, who recognized its historic importance, and its potential. They lovingly renovated the building, adding another story.
